New computers running Windows 10 may require Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 to install Silver Financial Planner. Previous versions of .Net framework are optional in Windows 10 and simply need to be enabled. To enable the required version of .NET for Silver, go to the Control Panel and select the Programs item. In the set of options that are now present, click the Turn Windows features on or off item. The resulting window may take a few moments to load, but when the list appears, simply check the box for .NET Framework 3.5 (includes .NET 2.0 and 3.0). After that, click the OK button; Windows will most likely require a restart at this point to enable the feature. Once the system reboots, Silver Financial Planner will be able to install and function perfectly.
