Client Access
Client Access, a feature of the online edition, has a new look and improved functionality.
The client access portal now displays your custom logo, reflecting your company branding, and features a simplified look and feel. The planning data in client access is updated, including changes to data input tables and saving changes automatically.
A new Client Access Defaults section is available under Settings, allowing advisors to select a custom logo and define the default permissions available to clients.
Refreshed Report Design
The year-by-year schedule reports feature a refreshed design to display information more effectively, making them easier to interpret.
In addition to the use of simple lines, the reports now include shading and bold font to provide visual indicators to the information. Summary columns are visually distinct from detail columns with light background shading, and columns of key importance are emphasized with bold font.
A PDF of the current reports and the prior reports is available to review the changes.
To emphasize important data, unnecessary lines and borders have been removed from the graphs.
This includes graph enclosures, the border around the graph and grid lines for the primary report pages.
Monte Carlo Report
New text directly below the Monte Carlo graph provides focus on the success rate.
The first line displays the success rate of the plan, which stands out in bold text. The second line shows an indication of risk. If the Monte Carlo success rate is 70% or higher, the text displays in green, indicating an acceptable risk of attaining retirement goals. If the Monte Carlo success rate is below 70%, the text displays in red, indicating an unacceptable risk of achieving retirement goals.
Debt Payments
Debt payments display on Retirement Profile to highlight amounts included in the plan.
The summer release of Silver included the ability to add debt payments to expenses. The Retirement Profile report now displays debt payment information under “Additional Objectives”. The payment and years until the balance is paid off is included for each debt.
Updated College Cost
The college cost data reflects the 2017-2018 school year.
The college cost estimator includes in-state tuition, out-of-state tuition, and housing costs for most American four year colleges and universities. The costs are updated for the 2017-2018 school year.
