Strategic Solutions

Calculating and displaying effects of time and taxes on client's retirement accounts is now simpler, more accurate, and more presentable than ever before. Strategic Solutions creates reports needed to offer your client complete explanations and graphic display of asset growth, tax effects, cash flows and planning strategies. Strategic Solutions consists of ten powerful reports addressing specific issues in retirement planning.

Each of the Strategic Solutions reports is designed to allow quick data input, letting you concentrate on serving clients, not spending hours entering data. All report pages are presentation quality, including proportional fonts, bold and underlined text, boxes, shading, and twenty striking 3-D graphs embedded on the report pages. Reports can be printed in black and white or color.

72(t) / RMD

This report is for clients who want to know how much they can withdraw from a qualified plan prior to age 59½ without the early distribution penalty tax. It computes both the amortized annuity and minimum distributions allowable. A powerful estate shrinkage report shows the amount of taxes taken from the account at death, and how life insurance can conserve the plan assets for heirs. The RMD report clearly shows the Required Minimum Distribution amounts for clients over the age of 70½.

Breakeven Analysis

Should your client start an IRA account he may need to liquidate early? This report compares an IRA to a savings account, assumes the IRA is liquidated, and compute how long he would have to keep the IRA in order to break even after taxes compared to the savings account.

Capital Accumulation

Illustrates the accumulation of lump sum and/or regular additions at four different rates of return and tax levels. Also includes specified age and amount of withdrawals projected over time.

Cost of Waiting or Delay

Show your reluctant clients the results of waiting one or more years to begin funding their retirement. Show the benefit of funding an IRA at the beginning of the year instead of waiting until tax return time.

Elderly Tax Planner

This report shows your client results of repositioning assets over a five year period. Enter the income desired, the pensions and other income sources available and the client's asset accounts: taxable, tax-deferred, tax-free, equities, other investments, and retirement plans.  It illustrates the results of cash flow, taxes and asset balances before and after planning.

Lump Sum Distribution

Illustrate the opportunities for special tax treatment when an individual receives distributions from a qualified retirement plan. The Lump Sum Distribution determines if the client is qualified to use the 5 year and 10 year average tax treatment, computes the tax and compares the results to taking the money with no special treatment and with an IRA rollover.

The report projects both a level income and minimum distribution income stream before and after tax. Compute the early and excess distribution tax penalty, use either single (Table V) or joint (Table IV) life expectancy calculations.

Pension Dimensions

Determines if your client should take a "single" life income option from his pension plan or select a joint and survivor option. This report shows results of both choices, and helps clients determine how much life insurance isneeded to replace survivor benefits if the single life option is selected.

Qualified Retirement Plans

Determine the advantages of saving money on a tax favored basis with a qualified retirement plan. The report includes calculations of deduction phase-out based on client/spouse participation in a qualified retirement plan and level of Adjusted Gross Income. The plan may be used for IRA, TSA, 401k or SEP. Shows accumulation of capital in a taxable savings account compared to a qualified plan, like IRA, 401k, Keogh or SEP.

Retirement Capital / Monte Carlo

This powerful report shows your customer how long their money will last in retirement. Project the income needed, pensions, social security, and other income available, and then show the capital account at two different rates of return. The Monte Carlo simulation is a powerful way to illustrate that money won't last long enough at the current rate, and how improving the rate of return even a little can give them what they need for retirement.

Retirement Plan Exchange

If the client has an existing IRA or other plan, and you want to show the results of reinvesting the funds, this will do the job. Considers the cost of repositioning the assets, shows the accumulation of funds and the income available before and after taxes.
